Benefits of a PRP Facial
Triggers a collagen boost that evens out rough patches on your skin, making it fresher, plumper, and brighter.
PRP Facials work as a wrinkle treatment in Sumter for mild to moderate fine lines
Reduces dark circles and unclogs deep-seated impurities on the face
Minimizes pores by building collagen, giving a tighter and smoother appearance
Improves acne scars by allowing the liquid gold PRP to break down old scar tissue so they become shallower and softer over the course of treatments
Brightens hyperpigmentation by improving skin cell turnover and allowing liquid gold PRP to penetrate more deeply into the skin
Reduces sun damage by speeding up skin cell repair, making sun-damaged skin smoother, firmer, and healthier
Low allergy risk since liquid gold PRP uses your own blood; there are no foreign substances or ingredients that could irritate sensitive skin
So what exactly is a PRP facial?
Our PRP Facial, sometimes known as a Vampire Facial or Liquid Gold facial, uses platelet-rich plasma derived from a small sample of your own blood. We take your blood sample and process it to reveal a small layer of "liquid gold" from within the tube of separated blood particles. PRP is often called liquid gold because it contains a concentrated supply of platelets and naturally occurring growth factors that help support the skin’s repair process. When paired with our medical-grade microneedling, this liquid gold is delivered into the skin more effectively, helping stimulate collagen, improve texture and tone, and promote a fresher, more radiant appearance. What makes PRP especially unique is that it comes from your own body, making it a natural, personalized approach to rejuvenation.
Below is an outline of our 4-step process:
Step 1: Blood Draw
First, we’ll clean your face and apply a topical numbing cream. While waiting for the numbing cream to take effect, we’ll draw blood from your arm (around 2 teaspoons). We’ll seal each blood vial in preparation for the next step.

Step 2: Centrifuge Separation
In this next phase of your PRP facial treatment, your collected blood is placed in a centrifuge. The rapid spinning separates the components of your blood allowing us to retrieve the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), the precious yellowish layer affectionately referred to as 'Liquid Gold'.

Step 3: Microneedling Procedure
Now that the numbing cream has completely taken hold, we’ll move into microneedling. Our advanced medical device the Skin Pen Elite uses very fine needles to make tiny, controlled punctures without dragging or scratchign the skin's surface; this gentle process signals your skin to ramp up collagen and healing for beautifully rejuvenated results.

In the final step, we deliver your PRP right into the skin, acting as your personalized natural serum. The precise micro-channels from microneedling allow the PRP to reach deeper layers, amplifying its regenerative effects and delivering optimal skin enhancement.
Step 4:
PRP Application

Frequently Asked Questions for our Liquid Gold PRP Facial
What concerns can a PRP Facial help improve?
A PRP Facial is commonly chosen to improve the appearance of dullness, uneven texture, fine lines, acne scars, and overall skin radiance. Microneedling is widely used to address uneven skin tone, wrinkles, large pores, and textural concerns, and PRP is often paired with it to enhance rejuvenation.
Does a PRP Facial hurt?
Most clients find the treatment very tolerable. A numbing cream is typically applied beforehand to keep you comfortable, and any discomfort during or after treatment is usually mild.
What will I look like after treatment?
Right after your treatment, your skin may look pink or red, similar to a mild sunburn. Some clients also notice slight swelling, tenderness, or minor bruising, but these effects are usually temporary.
How much downtime is there?
One reason clients love PRP Facials is that downtime is usually minimal. Most people return to normal activities quickly, although some redness may linger for a few days depending on the intensity of treatment and individual skin sensitivity.
When will I see results?
Many clients notice an early post-treatment glow, but the most visible improvement develops gradually as the skin renews itself. PRP-related smoothing and rejuvenation often become more noticeable over the following weeks.
Is a PRP Facial safe?
When performed by a properly trained medical professional using appropriate technique and infection-control practices, PRP facial treatments are generally considered safe for many patients. Because PRP comes from your own blood, many people appreciate it as a more natural treatment option. Still, as with any procedure, side effects and candidacy considerations should be discussed during consultation.
Who is a good candidate for a PRP Facial?
This treatment is often a great option for clients who want smoother, brighter, more refreshed-looking skin with a natural approach. The best candidates are determined during a consultation, since certain blood disorders, medications, skin conditions, and health factors may affect whether PRP treatment is appropriate.
Can I wear makeup after my treatment?
It is usually best to avoid makeup immediately after treatment and give your skin time to recover. We recommend waiting about a day before resuming makeup.
Is a PRP Facial the same as filler or a facelift?
No. A PRP Facial is not the same as dermal filler and it is not a surgical facelift. It is best thought of as a regenerative skin treatment focused on improving texture, tone, and glow rather than surgically lifting the face or replacing lost volume. Clients often pair this with our regenerative biofiller treatments (all-natural fillers made using your own blood products!) for extra volume if needed.
Why do clients love PRP Facials?
Clients are often drawn to Vampire Facials because they combine the benefits of microneedling with the power of PRP, your body’s own liquid gold. It is a popular choice for those who want fresher, smoother, more radiant-looking skin with little downtime and a natural feel. This treatment is especially appealing to clients who want rejuvenation without surgery.
